Today’s situation with commodity exchange traded funds is quite bearish.
But one of them is very different. It is agriculture ETF for Livestock Subindex – COW. It presents quite bullish price action. I plan to monitor it as I think that it can go up when we will see some pullback in commodity sector.
I mentioned few days ago that situation with commodity exchange traded funds looks very bad for bulls. It proved right and commodities declined a lot.
Precious metals ETFs were also hit and not only gold ETF or silver ETF. Also Platinum etf and Palladium etf declined a lot.
Current situation is not case to buy something in commodity area. I prefer to monitor situation and be in cash now.
Every time when stock markets decline it looks like there are a lot of investors that never looked at any stock market history chart. These charts could provide valuable lessons for every individual and professional investors.
My regular technical analysis routine shows me that commodity ETFs are not in bullish situation. Broad commodity ETF – DBC – stock chart analysis shows that it is on critical support level .
And several other ETFs like Agriculture ETFs or Base metals / copper ETF are already in bearish situation. I am looking for more shorts in commodity ETF area.
I have CERN in my bullish stock watch list and I monitor this stock closely. It is really leader of the market and is very strong based on relative strength analysis.
I plan to watch any decline to 50day moving average as possible buying opportunity with targets in new highs.
