Now I have noticed that long term ishares bond ETF  with stock market symbol TLT moved again into resistance area. Move to 120 resistance level could offer good short selling opportunity that could use very small / tight stop loss that could lead to very good risk reward ratio for such trade.

There is also possible to use inverse short ETF securities for these bonds with symbol TBT for this trade.

But if you want to buy some stocks the question is : “what stocks to buy now ?”. I use my simple but powerful method for selection of best stocks or ETFs for trade. I have found IBB – the biotech etf. This sector exchange traded fund presents huge relative strength to broad market.

I put this biotech etf into my watchlist for possible bullish trades and will create some trading setup for it.

This index ETF is weakest index exchange traded fund I monitor. It is very good candidate for short sell trade .

This is one example where I used analysis of candlestick patterns to make decision to trade this broad commodity ETF with symbol DBC . I made short sell trade based on my bearish pullback strategy I use in my ETF trading. After this ETF symbol was found using my ETF picking method I have noticed also some bearish candlestick patterns on the chart.

I have prepared setup with my entry, stop loss and possible target levels. I waited and then I entered trade when my trigger entry price level was approached. Trade developed well as is seen on second chart.

I have closed trade partially at 26 USD level as price was not able to move down further to lock some profit and rest of trade was closed in next days when price has pulled back to my trailing stop loss level.

There are common parameters for stocks used for day trading in both these types of day trading strategies.  Stocks like GOOG or AAPL are typical examples of stocks and SPY as stock index fund that can be used for day trading.
