Bearish stock chart patterns on multiple time frames – THOR

I have notices multiple bearish stock chart patterns on charts of THOR. There are Head and shoulders stock chart patterns on daily, weekly and also monthly time frame.

I have this stock in my bearish stock list these days but as earning date is close I do not want to enter trade now.

Moving averages are technical analysis indicators that are very useful in stock trading. It is very simple indicator but it is very powerful.

There are several different options how to use it in stock trading and stock chart analysis. I have summarized options how I personally use moving averages in my trading. I would like to know if somebody of you use moving averages and this usage is not described there. I would like to learn more about this simple technical analysis indicator so please let me know how you use it.

Using stock index charts in market analysis

Stock index charts analysis is part of my daily stock analysis routine. I check stock market situation daily to know what is preferable stock market trading trend and what is preferable direction for my trades.

As stock market situation is turning bearish then it is practical to stop using stock trading strategy for bullish markets and use stock trading strategy for declining markets – downtrend. Do you have one ?

10Year Yield looks bullish

10Y T-Note interest rate is now in bullish chart pattern. If it will break up then we can see move in the yield much higher. This is good tradable global macro theme.

SP500 index is hard hit

SP500 index lost all gains from previous 5 weeks during last selloff . It is not bullish sign. Some correction is in front of us. Index can easily drop to 1000 pt level. It is time to be cautions and think also about short sell trades.

USD index changing trend

I have noticed that USD Index has broken downtrendline and finished last week stronger. I think we can see start of new USD bullish trend move . I am waiting for this new trend and plan to trade it in my fund accordingly.

This index can be traded directly with ETF stock “UUP”.

Rally, but where is the volume ?

Stock market rally from last days is accompanied by very low volume levels. As you may know, volume is important indicator for me. And so I do not know now if stock market will make new breakout again.

Strong rally left me without positions

I was not trading too much last week as this rally left me practically without open trades on stock market. I closed 2 longs and still I have opened one short (KR), but I am still in process of waiting for stock market pullback.

10 days of strong rally without pullback did not allowed me to enter trade with good risk reward ratio.

Declining volume => be cautious

Yo can see declining volume since beginning of May on US stock markets. There are not real buyers on US stock markets since then.

I think that all move from beginning of May (near 930 high) is in risk. If we will not see some upmove with strong volume, then stock market can easily drop below 900 level – 800 to 820 as target.
